ICAR-K.H.Patil Krishi Vigyan Kendra located in Hulkoti village of Gadag district was established in the year 1985 under the administrative control of Non-Government Organisation named Agricultural Science Foundation. KVK is funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. Main objective of KVK is to address the problems faced by farming community through mandated activities laid out by ICAR. KVK has been playing a pivotal role in solving the farming problems through technology assessment, demonstration, capacity building, dissemination and extension activities. To achieve the mandated activities, KVK has well trained human resources, physical resources and technological resources to carry out the mandated activities.
